Happily married since 1986, Jim and Carol have been involved in many areas of ministry, including missions. Having seen, heard of, and experienced “the good, the bad, and the ugly” of ministry themselves, they have a deep passion for coming alongside ministry leaders to encourage and serve them. This they have been doing since 2000, helping ministry leaders address issues such as marital conflict, burnout, conflict with coworkers/church members, and a wide array of other difficulties. Whether through counseling, coaching, mentoring, friendship, or words of encouragement, Jim and Carol desire to be a listening ear, and to provide a safe haven for ministry leaders to share their hearts.
Additionally, Jim and Carol love to share what God has been teaching them along the journey of life! Through retreats, seminars, pulpit supply, small group interaction, or a casual get together, they seek to present the truth of God’s Word with love and authenticity.
Since 1987, Jim has counseled individuals and couples facing many kinds of challenges. Marital conflict, family and parenting issues, relational problems, depression, anxiety, burnout, sexual issues, and more are all areas he has dealt with. Jim holds an M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Grace Theological Seminary (1987) and an M.Div. from Multnomah Biblical Seminary (1999). Carol provides compassionate hospitality and practical wisdom in helping ministry leaders navigate through various challenges in life.
Jim and Carol love to “share God’s whispers” with ministry leaders who often feel like they are “running and all alone”. They invite you to contact them and begin a conversation!
